Denim and Diamonds Event - June 2, 2013
The PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation held its first ever "Denim and Diamonds" donor recognition event on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Bellingham Golf & Country Club.
About 150 Foundation supporters attended the inaugural event, clad in their best denim and diamonds. The casual evening featured delicious barbecue fare, long drive and putting contests, and dancing to the music of the Atlantics.
Major sponsors of the event were Mills Electric, John L. Scott Foundation and Tradewinds Capital Management.

2012 Gala Award Winners Bob and Lisa Bailey
In June, 2014 the Foundation will host its bi-annual Gala. The gala is an opportunity to celebrate and thank the community for generous support of PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center. Stay tuned for further details!
The 2012 "Care, Share, Inspire" Gala held at the IMCO warehouse ballroom was the largest event in the history of St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation, with 600 seats sold.
At the Gala, members of the Foundation’s Circle of Care were honored and the following awards for significant and inspirational contributions were presented:
- Ralph H. Rinne, MD Physician Philanthropy Leader of the Year Award is presented to a physician who demonstrates philanthropy through the donation of time, talent and treasure in support of PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center. The 2012 award went to physicians at Northwest Radiologists, Inc.
- Philanthropist of the Year Award is made to a couple or an individual who has made a significant contribution in support of PeaceHealth St. Joseph. The 2012 award was presented to Bob and Lisa Bailey.
- Inspirational Leader of the Year Award is given to an individual who inspires others within the PeaceHealth family through leadership and engagement. The 2012 award went to Dennis and Sylvia Holmstrom.
