Current Project:
Cardiac Catheterization Lab Campaign

Dear Community Members,

Six years ago our family experienced a health crisis which could have been fatal. Maila was diagnosed with pulmonary emboli and treatment began immediately. We are so thankful to have had life-saving services and care close by.  We cannot emphasize the importance of having state-of-the-art equipment at St. John Medical Center.

Because of this experience, it is a privilege to represent St. John Foundation as Chairs of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab Campaign. Our goal is to raise $1 million to purchase the needed equipment in the new Catheterization Lab.  This new equipment will be more diagnostic in providing interventional vascular care. Cardiology services in our community means the “Best Heart Care, Close to Home.”

Heart disease was the phantom killer of two grandfathers, several uncles, an aunt and both of our fathers. Through modern technology, a triple bypass has prolonged the life of a brother. We are aware of our predisposition to heart disease so have taken steps to monitor our heart health by having physicals and taking medications. However, there is the lurking possibility of needing immediate attention and care. We want to continue to enjoy our family and friends, to recreate in the beauty if the northwest, and to be involved in the community. With the clinical technology in new equipment, we are confident that in an emergency we will find exceptional medical services at St. John Medical Center.

Are you concerned about your heart health? Have you, a loved one, or a friend needed coronary care? Do you want state- of- the- art technology close to home? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, please join us with your philanthropic support as we move forward with this project.

Thank you,

Jim & Maila Cadd, Chairs
Cardiac Catheterization Lab Campaign
