PeaceHealth opens walk-in clinic in Cottage Grove

On Nov. 19, Cottage Grove Community Hospital & Clinics opens a new walk-in clinic located on the first floor of the hospital at 1515 Village Drive. The clinic is designed to improve health care access for people in Cottage Grove and surrounding communities by allowing patients to be seen without an appointment on a first come, first served basis. It will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Fridays; and 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. Saturdays will be limited to patients age 8 and over.

“The new Cottage Grove Walk-in Clinic will provide high-quality care from board-certified physicians and experienced, caring staff,” said family medicine physician Dr. Naiman Khan, the lead physician for the new clinic. “People without a primary care physician or those who are unable to schedule an appointment with their regular doctor may access services at the walk-in clinic.”

The clinic is open to all patients, regardless of whether they regularly see a PeaceHealth physician, for treatment of injuries and illnesses as well as general check-ups. Funding for the new walk-in clinic came from donations to the Cottage Grove Community Hospital Foundation. Local contractor Hyland Construction remodeled existing space to accommodate the new clinic.
