Areas of Concentration

Family Medicine of Southwest Washington currently offers two areas of concentration, or AOCs. AOCs provide an opportunity for residents to focus in a particular area of interest during their 2nd and 3rd year of residency.  Residents who select an AOC will be mentored by a faculty with similar interest and will use a designated amount of elective time to focus in their chosen area.
