Biography
Lance Amols, MD, is a quadruple board-certified psychiatrist.
Dr. Amols specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry, addiction medicine and forensic psychiatry.
Dr. Amols has significant experience supporting inpatient treatment. He collaborates closely with the care team. Together they provide thoughtful care to support complex cases.
Dr. Amols completed his medical degree at the Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL. He has published research on childhood trauma and PTSD. Dr. Amols has served on expert panels. He has presented research on topics including depressive disorders and the opioid crisis.
Dr. Amols meets each patient where they are. He works hard to create a safe and respectful environment grounded in trust. Dr. Amols shared, “I strive to provide evidence-based care while remaining flexible and thoughtful in my approach, recognizing that no two patients are the same.”
In his free time, Dr. Amols enjoys kayaking, hiking and long walks with his dog.
