What We Are Doing:
This Measure is no longer a NPSG and has been incorporated into the Provision of Care, Treatment and Services Measure. At PeaceHealth St John Medical Center we use a system of passing that information nurse-to-nurse and nurse-to-doctor that has been proven to be most effective. Called "SBAR", it stands for Situation, Background, Assessment, and Recommendation. This keeps communication concise, clear and is geared to our goals for your care. Soon, doctors who see you here will use the same system.
