What We Are Doing:

We have standard Emergency Department orders that begin when the patient is triaged for care. If pneumonia is suspected, an RN can begin appropriate care to expedite treatment.

We also have standardized admission orders for the care of patients with pneumonia.

We continue to look at our processes for improvement of this measure.
