What We Are Doing:

In heart failure, all patients have their ejection fraction measured to determine the percent of the volume of blood that is pumped with each heartbeat. This is how a physician knows what kind and how much of a medication is needed to meet the standard of care.

Our physicians are excellent at completing and documenting these assessments, as well as explaining why an assessment may not be performed.
