Dr. Mark Reis joined PeaceHealth Medical Group in November of 2006, as an Orthopedic Surgeon for the InMotion Clinic. His office is located in PHMG InMotion Clinic at St. John Medical Center.
Dr. Reis received his undergraduate degree at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois in 1982. He went on to obtain his medical degree from the Northwestern University in Chicago in 1986, and completed his residency at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California in 1994. In 1996, he completed a sports medicine subspecialty at the Kerlan-Jobe Clinic in Los Angeles. While there, Dr. Reis participated in athletic coverage for USC football, L.A. Lakers, L.A. Dodgers, L.A. Kings, and the L.A. Angels sports teams.
He has spent the past nine years as a solo practitioner in Port Townsend, WA and for the past six years he has held operating privileges at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. Dr. Reis has also served as Associate Clinical Faculty for the University of Washington Department of Orthopedic Surgery since 2000. He is the current President of the Washington State Orthopedic Association.
Dr. Reis has a passion for sports medicine and is looking forward to team approach to care that is in place at the InMotion Clinic. In recent years he has served as the Team Physician for Port Townsend and Bainbridge Island High Schools, as well as intermittent care for the Los Angeles Dodgers and their affiliated teams.
Dr. Reis relocated to Longview and looks forward to enjoying the great people and outdoor activities that S.W. Washington has to offer.
