MD Dr James McClelland received his cardiology training at Oregon Health Sciences University and a Research Fellowship at Duke University from 1986-1990. Prior to joining Oregon Cardiology in 1997, he was tenured Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Oklahoma, where he performed advanced ablation therapy of heart rhythm disturbances. Dr. McClelland is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Electrophysiology. Dr. McClelland was appointed Medical Director of Heart Rhythm Services at the Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute in December of 2004.
