Patrick Ballard is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, specially trained to look at the needs of the whole person and work with patients as partners in their care.
His training and clinical interests span all aspects of primary care as well as some specialty areas such as emergency medicine, surgery, psychiatry, radiology and public health with experience in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Advanced Disaster Life Support, Wilderness Advanced Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation. He also performs FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) physicals.
Dr. Ballard came to PeaceHealth in 2012 after residency in Anchorage, Alaska and service with the Alaska Army National Guard in Afghanistan. In addition to medicine, he has a love of the natural sciences and together with his wife, shares a passion for geology. Dr. Ballard also enjoys scuba diving and dirt biking with the couple's three sons.
