Beller, Klarissa Nelson MD

Dr. Beller enjoys taking care of, and working with, adults of all ages. She has a strong interest in helping her patients manage and prevent complications from chronic diseases such as diabetes, obesity-related conditions, hypertension and heart disease. Her outside interests include reading, gardening, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two young daughters. Dr. Beller joined PeaceHealth Medical Group in 2002.

Blandy, Linda Beal LCSW

Linda Blandy came to PeaceHealth Medical Group in 2009 with decades of counseling and medical social work experience. Her career began in Ohio, where she earned her Master of Social Work degree from the Ohio State University. Linda has been working in the Willamette Valley area since 1987 and is a member of the Oregon Gerontology Association. Some of her areas of expertise include managing holiday stress and couples therapy.

Angela began her career with PeaceHealth in 1992 as a nursing assistant and then worked as a RN in Urgent Care. She became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2004. Most recently, Angela became a certified insulin infusion pump trainer through Medtronic. Born and raised in the Eugene area, Angela enjoys spending time with her two children, Lyndsay and Brian. She also enjoys walking, hiking and bike riding.

Brandt, Kathleen A RD, CDE

Kathleen began nutrition educated at Sacred Heart in 1993 and joined PeaceHealth Medical Group in 1998. She is a nutrition counselor who practices what she preaches with a healthy diet and lifestyle. She enjoys native plant gardening, travel, physical fitness, music with her family and raising her three children. Kathleen is a big supporter of alternative transportation and regularly bicycle commutes to work.

Brasted, Robert C. MD

My professional interests are varied. I enjoy all aspects of child, adolescent and family mental health as well as difficult and complex behavioral/developmental/mental disorders. I am interested in psychopharmacology and its integration with therapies and comprehensive treatment. I work with early intervention in child/adolescent/young adult mental disorders, and enjoy consulting with therapists and other medical specialists.

Bustos, Daniel E. MD

Ophthalmologist Daniel E. Bustos, MD, joined PeaceHealth Medical Group’s ophthalmology practice in 2007. Prior to completing medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center and an ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee, he earned a master’s degree in anatomy. He has a special interest in treating cataracts, diabetic retinopathy and other disorders of the retina.

Carmichael, Laurie L. PNP

Laurie likes kids and describes her work with them as "just plain fun." She particularly enjoys the dynamics of families and watching them grow. She is especially interested in individual personality and learning styles and the different strengths and challenges they present. In her own family, Laurie has three boys and nine birds, including an African Grey parrot. Laurie joined PeaceHealth Medical Group in 1993.

Libby started as a clinical nurse specialist at Sacred Heart Medical Center before joining Behavioral Health Services in 1990. She is a very active hiker, birdwatcher and mountain biker and enjoys international travel.

Couture, Erin J LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Erin Couture, has been with PeaceHealth Medical Group since 2008. Erin's educational background has strong Oregon ties as she completed her undergraduate education at the University of Oregon. She later went on to earn her Master of Social Work degree at Portland State University. A licensed clinical social worker since 2001, Erin is trained in family therapy, with specialties that include adolescent behavioral disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder and anxiety.

Cox, William E. MD

Dr. Cox enjoys caring for patients with eye conditions that require either medical or surgical treatments. He has special interest in small incision cataract surgery, eyelid plastic surgery and surgery-such as Lasik and astigmatic keratotomy--that can eliminate the need for glasses or contacts. Dr. Cox has been a practicing surgical and medical ophthalmologist at PeaceHealth Medical Group in Eugene since 1978. He began performing laser refractive surgery in 1996. Since coming to Eugene Dr. Cox has been the co-director of Eugene’s first Radial Keratotomy training course for eye surgeons. He also served as regional surgeon for the Oregon Health Sciences University Radial Keratotomy Study. Prior to that Dr. Cox was Chief of Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery at R.W. Bliss Army Hospital and Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at the University of Louisville, where he also received his medical degree in 1971.

Davidson, Sidney D. MD

Dr. Sidney Davidson joined PeaceHealth Medical Group's Family Practice department in 2009 from Dirne Community Health Center in Idaho. Dr. Davidson has over 17 years experience in Family Medicine and chose to join PeaceHealth Medical Group because she enjoyed the people and believed in the mission of PeaceHealth. Dr. Davidson, her husband Craig, and their son enjoy outdoor activities, reading and of course laughing together.

Dr. Deutch provides comprehensive eye care in his general ophthalmology practice. He enjoys seeing patients of all ages--from newborns to the elderly--with a wide range of eye issues and problems that may involve surgery, laser or medical treatments.

Jennifer has worked in health care in a variety of settings since 1984. She originally began working in a laboratory, but her desire to work directly with patients prompted her to pursue nursing. She has been a nurse practitioner since 1998, working in family and internal medicine. Jennifer enjoys cycling, hiking, reading and travel. She has been at PeaceHealth Medical Group since 2001.

Doerksen, Juanita P. MD

Before Dr. Juanita Doerksen moved to Eugene in April 1998, she practiced in Manitoba, Canada, a small town where she and five other family physicians delivered all the town's babies and staffed the emergency room as well. Dr. Doerksen's specialty is family medicine and she earned her degree at the University of Manitoba School of Medicine. Patients of Dr. Doerksen can make appointments and e-visits using PatientConnection, a password-protected, secure Web site. PatientConnection also allows them to update personal information; view a list of their medications, allergies and immunizations; and review their clinic account and pay any outstanding balance online.

Linda's experience runs from depression education nursing to executive administration with various hospitals and clinics in Chicago and California. She started at Sacred Heart Medical Center's Johnson Unit in 2001 before joining PeaceHealth Medical Group the following year.
