A Tour of Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby rooms with Intro to Infant Feeding

Description: A Free guided tour of Labor & Delivery and Mother/Baby departments at RiverBend. We briefly talk about parking, hospital registration, and finding your way around RiverBend. We tour Labor & Delivery and talk about birth practices/options available to you. Next we tour a Mother/Baby room (where the remainder of your stay will be). We provide you with information on community resources available. We gladly answer all questions and will help you determine how we can best support you during your hospital stay. At the completion of the tour, you are invited to stay for the Introduction to Breastfeeding class. This class is lead by an expert in lactation and will address the important first hours and days of breastfeeding. When you come to the class you receive a breastfeeding book with links to helpful videos. Online video tours are also available.
