The main focus of PEARS is prevention, and specifically, the assessment, recognition and stabilization of pediatric victims at risk of severe cardiopulmonary distress.
Please pick up course materials in the Education Department prior to your class. The PEARS textbook is also available for purchase for $31 in the Education office.
This course is a certification course for those who are certifying for the first time or have an expired PEARS card.
Class registration will be closed two weeks prior to the course start date. If you have registered online and have not received a confirmation from the Education Dept. within one business day, please contact the Education Dept so we may follow up with your registration. Please be sure to print your online registration and bring to class with you.
