Back to class list| Description: | Series of six free educational sessions for cancer patients and their loved ones, presented by physicians, nurses, and staff from the Willamette Valley Cancer Center. Class is offered in six weekly one-hour sessions Tuesday evenings at 5:30. The six sessions cover the following topics: --Cancer: Myths and Realities. --Coping with Cancer: Strategies for Living! Where to Look for Help. --Chemotherapy: Today's Treatment, Tomorrow's Hope. --Radiation Therapy: High-Tech Cancer Treatment. --Healthy Nutrition for Cancer Patients: Separating Fact from Fiction. --Search for the Cure: New Hope in the Battle Against Cancer. |
