Back to class list| Description: | OASIS is a national educational organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for adults age 50 and better. OASIS offers free membership and 400+ free and low-cost classes and programs in health & fitness, the arts & humanities, personal improvement, trips and special events each year to 8,400+ mature adults in Lane County at its center and sites throughout the community. OASIS also offers exceptional volunteer opportunities at its center and in the community -- including the OASIS Tutoring Program, in which volunteers work one-on-one with first through third graders in 26 schools of six local school districts to help develop language skills and self-esteem. PeaceHealth Center for Senior Health is OASIS' local administrative sponsor.
