Childbirth Preparation: Preparation for Childbirth and Parenting
Back to class list| Description: | 8 sessions, plan to start in your sixth month of pregnancy. This traditional course covers late pregnancy, the process of labor and birth, labor coping skills (with many in-class practice sessions), newborn care and breastfeeding, postpartum, and early parenting. Weekly classes help connect families with peers. Bring several pillows and a blanket or soft mat to class. Class sponsored by PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center and Bellingham Technical College.
