Respiratory Conditions in the Elderly
Back to class list| Description: | Dr. Donald Berry, who works in pulmonary medicine with PeaceHealth Medical Group, will talk about how aging changes the respiratory system's structure and function - putting older adults at risk for respiratory disorders and diseases. Berry also will discuss changes that require medical attention, as well as more common conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and pneumonia. The talk is the next installment in the lecture series "Facing the Challenges of Aging," offered by the Adult Day Health Center at PeaceHealth St. Joseph. Registration is required.
