Ketchikan General Hospital Diagnostic Imaging Department provides the latest technology in diagnostic equipment including general x-ray, ultrasound, mammography, computer-aided detection for every mammogram, stereotactic breast biopsy, MRI, nuclear medicine, computerized tomography and bone mineral densitomety. A new Women's Diagnostic Imaging Suite opening in May 2007 groups women's screening and diagnostic procedures in an updated, private and comfortable setting.
