Richard W. Marcus, MD, brings more than 22 years of experience to his practice at the Sleep Center at Sacred Heart Medical Center. After completing medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch and a neurology residency and year-long epilepsy fellowship in Georgia, Dr. Marcus spent 22 years in private practice in South Carolina and North Carolina learning how sleep disorders affected his patients. The last seven years were spent almost exclusively managing complex sleep problems as a sleep physician. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine and has been recognized for his work in epilepsy treatment and as one of the Best Doctors in America.
