Mark Thorson is a Washington State Cougar who earned his medical degree from the University of Washington. He completed his Internal Medicine Internship, Residency, and General Internal Medicine Fellowship at the University of Iowa where he met his wife Karen. Dr. Thorson is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and practiced general Internal Medicine in Longview for 20 years before joining PeaceHealth in 1999. He has served as President of the St. John Medical Staff and past Medical Director of the Echocardiography for 19 years. He enjoys gardening, Astronomy Club, church activities, and his 3 children.
