PeaceHealth Core Values
     PeaceHealth's core values reflect the character and mission of the sponsoring Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace.  From their organization in 1884 the sisters have followed the ideals and practical spirituality of their foundress Margaret Anna Cusack.  The sisters who traveled to Fairhaven (Bellingham), Washington, in 1890 brought with them the message and commitment which exists today at PeaceHealth.

We choose to serve the community and hold ourselves accountable to exercise ethical and responsible stewardship in allocation and utilization of human, financial and environmental resources.

We value the involvement, cooperation and creativity of all who work together to promote the health of the community.

We build and evaluate the structures of our organization and those of society to promote the just distribution of health care resources.
