Spine and joint pain can severly limit quality of life and a proper diagnosis combined with optimal, individualized treatment can help patients gain freedom from pain and return to work and play. - Identify which patients would benefit from myelopathy and radiculopathy screening
- Review management of compression fractures to prevent damage to the spinal cord and/or nerves
- Evaluate best practices for diagnosing and managing neck and shoulder pain
- Discuss the importance of physical therapy as a preventive measure and post-surgical treatment option
- Assess and review the importance of weight loss, diabetes management and sleep apnea in the prevention and treatment of back and/or joint pain
- Review the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to back and/or joint pain
- Discuss how to identify potential anesthesiology risk factors for surgical candidates
