FLU NOTICEDuring the
influenza season, we are restricting visitors to the Special Care
Nursery, Labor &
Delivery, and Mother/Baby units to protect the health and safety of
our patients, families and staff.
- These units
are restricted to two adult support persons. No other visitors
will be allowed to enter these units.
- If you have fever, cough and/or sore throat, please do
not enter these units.
- The visitation policy will
vary depending on the severity

Both the season flu and H1N1 (swine) flu can cause medical
complications in pregnant women, even those who are
healthy. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
(CDC) Web site includes resources for pregnant women on
preparing for the flu season and other information about
both types of flu. Pregnant women should get both vaccines
as soon as possible, and are considered priority groups to
receive the H1N1 vaccine.
