About Us
St. Joseph Hospital’s Behavioral Health Outpatient Center is licensed by the Washington State Department of Health and certified by the Washington State Division of Alcohol and Substance Abuse and the Washington State Division of Mental Health. 

Referrals are accepted from medical, legal and mental health professionals, community agencies, employers, family members and clergy. Self-referrals are accepted as well. Psychiatric consulting services require physician referral.

  • Multi-track outpatient services
    • Day or evening sessions available
    • Comprehensive chemical dependency and mental health intakes and evaluations
       
  • Group and individual therapy
    • Co-ed continuing care
    • Women and men’s continuing care groups
    • Intensive outpatient for adults (nine hours a week for two months) 
    • Relapse prevention groups for adults
  • Specialized programs for co-occurring disorders
    • Co-occurring, one-hour continuing care group, four times a week
    • Co-occurring relapse prevention groups
       
  • Alcohol and drug information school (eight-hour class)
     
  • Pre-treatment
     
  • Early intervention, twice a week
     
  • On-site daycare

Payment Options
The Behavioral Health Outpatient Center accepts most private insurance. Washington State Department of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (DASA) low-income funds are available for people who need financial assistance for chemical dependency treatment.
