These are voluntary patients experiencing withdrawal symptoms not requiring
intensive medical monitoring i.e.
- Alcohol withdrawal -no previous history of seizures or Delirium Tremens
(DT’s) and/or no medical condition which would likely precipitate a more
complicated course of withdrawal.
- Opiate withdrawal- with no medical complications
