Our Team
Led by physicians and supported by over 25 staff, our oncology and
infusion services team includes Whatcom County's three medical
oncologists, oncology/infusion-certified RNs and an experienced
oncology/hematology services manager. Our cancer care specialists direct
the administration of chemotherapy and other medications for patients
with cancer and other blood disorders in our Outpatient Infusion Center.
They also help to coordinate treatment with other providers in the
community, including radiation oncologists, surgeons and other providers
involved in the care of oncology patients. Sometimes this may involve
treatment in cooperative group clinical trials such as SWOG, NSABP, PSOC,
RTOG or GOG.
The Center for
Oncology and Infusion Services is staffed by nurse specialists dedicated
to providing the highest levels of compassionate care.
We welcome all
patients with a current physician's referral.
