Dr. Walter Medlin joins PeaceHealth Medical Group after a recent move
from Minnesota, where he practiced as a general surgeon, served as the
Director of the Weight Management Program at the Duluth Clinic and
served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Minnesota
Department of Surgery. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Washington’s
School of Medicine in 1993, Dr. Medlin completed advanced training in
general surgery, laparoscopy and bariatrics. In his free time, Dr. Medlin enjoys
hiking, weight training, mountain biking, snowboarding and motorcycles.
Dr. Stephen Cesar joined Madrona Medical Group, now PeaceHealth Medical
Group, in 2003 with an impressive history of more than 25 years of
surgical experience. He graduated from medical school at the University of Santo
Tomas in Manila, Philippines in 1976. He is certified by the American
Board of Surgery, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of
the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons. When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Cesar enjoys catching up on current events,
watching basketball, gym activities and photography.
