community benefits

Providing and promoting community health is a cornerstone of PeaceHealth’s mission. We do this in a multitude of ways - from providing charity care in-kind or financial support to community groups. We could not maintain the level of community benefit outlined below without the support of the larger community, such as businesses who provide health insurance benefits to employees and/or contribute to other not-for-profit providers. They make up for the payment shortfalls in Medicare and Medicaid and help us provide free or low-cost care to the uninsured or underinsured. These are the unsung partners in our mission and we thank them.
