Whatcom Hospice at St. Joseph Hospital

Whatcom Hospice, a program of St. Joseph Hospital, provides life-affirming care for patients and families with advanced illness or disease. Serving patients in their own homes, Whatcom Hospice helps with the medical, social, emotional and spiritual concerns that often arise during the final months of life.

Whatcom Hospice admits patients with a limited life expectancy, who choose to seek care aimed at providing comfort and ensuring dignity when cure is no longer possible. Medicare and most other insurance plans cover hospice services.
