Our vision is to make a significant and timely contribution to
people’s physical fitness and safe, healthy engagement
in desired everyday occupations.

We partner with each patient's community support network, to regain their desired optimal function and quality of life, through high quality therapeutic intervention.

Our rural setting presents a variety of opportunities for how and when we serve patients.

Most of our patients are Ketchikan residents. Ketchikan is well-known for it’s hills and stairs.
Some of our inpatients leave the hospital to return to small, remote sites on neighboring or far away islands, with a variety of transportation and living arrangements.
Some of our outpatients come from these remote areas by ferry and need to get their therapy before the ferry leaves if they are coming and going to Ketchikan the same day.

At Ketchikan General Hospital (KGH) we are able to provide a full compliment of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy in whatever setting is needed:

Acute Inpatient Rehab Level on ICU and Medical Surgical Units
Transitional Care Unit (Skilled Nursing Facility)
Home Health
Outpatient Clinic
