our 2007 Goal!

Gift Of Healing Campaign Philanthropists 2007

Our 2008 campaign is underway.  Look for more information about upcoming events soon!

The KGH Foundation Board of Directors are committed to improving and advancing the technology of Ketchikan General Hospital. Each year, the board raises funds to purchase new technology and replacement equipment to both ensure the quality of patient care at KGH and offset costs to KGH in the form of equipment and technology donations.

The “whys” are simple–we want to provide the best quality care and service. Ketchikan deserves this–and together we can make it happen.

Infant Resuscitator / Warmer Units

Every baby born at KGH benefits!
Units replace outdated equipment.
One unit will be dedicated to Surgery Dept for C-sections.
Units have built in Phototherapy lights unlike current equipment.
Units have "neopuff" technology for safer resuscitation techniques.

"Approximately 10% of all babies need some resuscitation and the right equipment makes all the difference in that baby's life,"
--Dr. Norm Herron, Pediatrician
