 Role: The Project Executive is the innovative clinical leader of the Pursuing Perfection project team. His/her role is to provide transformational leadership to support changing the systems of care in Whatcom County. In this role, the person will function as the model for commitment to safety and quality as high priority issues and demonstrate their importance through effective alliances with payers, administrators, policy-makers, and regulators to support the six aims and ten redesign principles of Pursuing Perfection. The role involves communicating on a local, regional, and national level to build a common understanding and foster a willingness to radically change health care. This individual is responsible to articulate a clear vision that motivates a wide range of constituents. Additionally, this individual serves as a catalyst to inspire, empower, and exert broad influence over a wide variety of stakeholders.

 Role: The Project Manager is the operational leader of the Pursuing Perfection project team. The role of the project manager is to lead the project, initiate and manage communication with internal and external customers, manage the resources and time lines, and be a creative thought partner to executive leadership, CHIC, and CHIC work groups, and pursuing perfection organizations. In this role, the person will function as the primary
Facilitator (manager, leader, negotiator, etc.) of the Pursuing Perfection grant including both hospital and community aspects of implementation. This person will use a wide variety of quality improvement tools and knowledge of the full spectrum of healthcare delivery and operations, as well as knowledge of patient-centered approaches to health care. This person is responsible to ensure diverse consumer representation, adherence to the patient-centered model of care, and effective implementation of patient self-management strategies. Serves as key operational contact for IHI, provider groups, payer partners, community and government agencies, PeaceHealth regions, PeaceHealth HID).
