The wait times displayed
are the average times and cannot be guaranteed at the time of your
arrival. Shortly after your arrival, you will be evaluated by a triage
nurse. If it is determined you have a condition that requires immediate
attention, you will be placed in a room and evaluated by a physician.
Blood work and imaging tests may be ordered for you prior to seeing a
physician. If you have a condition that does not warrant immediate
attention, you will be seen as soon as possible and the displayed wait
times will apply in most cases. These times are based on our automated
patient tracking system, and measure the time between a patient
receiving a tracking badge in our Emergency Department lobby and being
placed in an Emergency Department bed.
