 The Oregon Bariatric Center has been designated a Center of Excellence by the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
As a Center of Excellence, the Oregon Bariatric Center helps to promote safety and advocacy. By offering comprehensive services to our patients, performing data tracking and analysis, our program promotes patient safety.
This designation publicly honors us as being the best of the best. In becoming a Center of Excellence, our program has held itself up to some of the highest standards in the industry. The designation is indicative of our comprehensive commitment to a high level of bariatric care.
To earn a Center of Excellence designation, the Oregon Bariatric Center underwent a series of site inspections during which all aspects of the program’s surgical processes were closely examined and data on health outcomes was collected.
