PeaceHealth Medical Group
Primary Care

Primary care physicians are your advocates for good health:

Primary care medicine focuses on health care for all but very uncommon or unusual conditions. Your primary care physician works with you to:

  • Coordinate your medical care across all specialties.

  • Diagnose and treat illness.

  • Promote healthy lifestyles and prevention.

  • Manage your medications.

At PeaceHealth Medical Group we offer primary care services in several convenient central and neighborhood locations

In addition, PeaceHealth Medical Group patients who are hospitalized are cared for by hospitalists: internal medicine specialists who work closely with your doctor to manage and coordinate your care while in the hospital.

Family Medicine

Family medicine physicians specialize in the care of entire families and individuals of all ages. Their special training, skills and expertise qualify them to provide lifelong comprehensive medical care, health maintenance and preventive services to all members of a family, from infants to elders.

Family doctors at PeaceHealth Medical Group know that years of learning about the health, strengths and life experiences of each family member enhances the care they give to the family as a whole. Their knowledge of the family as a unit allows them to serve as effective advocates and guides in health-related matters, including the appropriate use of consultants, health services and community resources across the lifespan.

At PeaceHealth Medical Group, Family Medicine specialists are available at the following locations:

Extended Family Medicine hours are offered at our Downtown Eugene clinic on Saturday mornings.

Pediatric Medicine

Pediatrics is the medical specialty concerned with the physical, emotional and social health of children from birth to young adulthood. Pediatric care encompasses a broad spectrum of health services, ranging from preventive health care to the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases.

Pediatricians at PeaceHealth Medical Group understand that children aren’t simply small adults and that many factors affect their growth and development. Children change rapidly, and they must be approached with an appreciation for their particular stage of physical and mental development.

PeaceHealth Medical Group offers pediatric services at the following convenient locations:

Extended pediatric hours are offered at our Downtown Eugene clinic on weekday evenings and weekends.

Internal Medicine

Internal medicine is a branch of primary care that focuses on the health care of adults. Doctors of internal medicine are known as “internists” or “general internists” and shouldn’t be confused with “interns,” who are doctors in their first year of training after medical school.

Internists can provide general health care as well as non-surgical treatment for complicated and severe diseases of the blood and internal organs such as the heart, stomach, kidney and liver. PeaceHealth Medical Group internists work with patients to help prevent disease and to manage chronic health conditions as well as diagnosing and treating new health problems.

PeaceHealth Medical Group offers internal medicine services at the following locations:

To better serve older adults, PeaceHealth also offers a Senior Health and Wellness Center and a Center for Senior Health.

Urgent Care Medicine

The Urgent Care Clinic serves patients who need to see a doctor quickly but who aren’t in a genuine emergency. In a true emergency, when life or limb is at risk, patients need the level of care provided by a hospital Emergency Department. For other urgent health care needs, especially on weekends and evenings, the Urgent Care Clinic can help.

Urgent Care physicians typically see patients for cuts and bruises, possible fractures, stomach pain, urinary tract infections (in children / in adults), and bad colds and flu. During office hours, call your own doctor first before going to Urgent Care.

As a PeaceHealth Medical Group patient, your confidential electronic medical record follows you to Urgent Care and to each of your doctors' offices, even Sacred Heart Medical Center, so your doctors always have complete, up-to-date information about your health history.

PeaceHealth Medical Group offers an Urgent Care Clinic at the following location:

The Urgent Care Clinic is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., 365 days a year.
