Welcome to Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend, a brand new, state-of-the-art regional medical center located in Oregon’s picturesque Willamette Valley. The creators of Sacred Heart at RiverBend are on the leading edge of evidence-based hospital design, creating a patient-centered, healing environment with a strong focus on quality clinical outcomes and patient safety. The hospital, which the Portland Daily Journal of Commerce listed as Oregon’s largest construction project in 2006, is set to open in August of 2008.
We have created a health and wellness destination, complete with private rooms with spectacular views and a two-story atrium in the lobby to allow natural light into the interior of the building along with a fireplace to provide a warm lodge hearth-type atmosphere to help reduce stress. Rooftop gardens provide an additional close up view of nature for the benefit of our patients and their families. Large, comfortable private rooms will provide a restful place for patients and their families. Many of the private rooms will have outstanding views, and all will have in-room sleeping accommodations, so a family member can be close to offer support.
