Sacred Heart Wins Consumer Choice Award

Thanks, Eugene/Springfield!

Sacred Heart Medical Center has been named a 2006/2007 Consumer Choice Award winner, based on a study by the National Research Corporation, as it has every year since 2002. The award designates Sacred Heart as Eugene-Springfield’s most preferred hospital and is based on consumers who rated us as having the best doctors, nurses, quality, image and reputation. More than 3,200 hospitals were studied nationwide to compile the list of 234 top consumer-choice hospitals in the country.

Notable winners in other markets include: Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital.

The 2006/07 Healthcare Market Guide is the nation’s largest and most comprehensive study of its kind. No other study used to measure hospital performance and preferences contains more consumer responses than NRC’s study.
