The 2008 KOOL Cares for Kids Radiothon will be broadcast on KOOL 99.1 FM on April 3 - 5 with Barry MacGuire and other on-air
personalities, who will encourage listeners to call in and pledge financial support for infants and children cared for
at Sacred Heart. The entire broadcast will be transmitted live from Center Court at Eugene’s Valley River Center. Programming
will include interviews with “Miracle Families” whose children have been personally helped by the outstanding medical care
and equipment at Sacred Heart. If you would like to make your Radiothon pledge today, please click
here. Be sure to listen
in April 3 - 5 and hear more about the wonderful work your donations are supporting.
"Change Bandits" are back!
During the weeks leading up to the broadcast, big-hearted volunteer "bandits"
will be all over town asking friends and neighbors to empty their change and make a donation to Radiothon. On April 1, all of the bandits will gather for the Bandit Bash, where the “loot” will be counted. Please be kind to the bandits you meet- every donation goes directly to help Sacred Heart's youngest patients!
If you are interested in volunteering as a bandit, click here, and we will provide more details. Special thanks to Foresters, our 2008 Change Bandit Sponsor.
The goal of the 2008 KOOL Cares for Kids Radiothon is to raise $50,000 for infants and children treated at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene. We hope you will participate with a pledge by calling or stopping by during the event.
