End-of-Life Care
Volunteering with Hospice of Sacred Heart
 |
Hospice volunteers are special, compassionate and sensitive individuals from all walks of life who are committed to serving the terminally ill and their families. |
The Hospice interdisciplinary team consists of a medical director, nurses, social workers, chaplains, home health aides and trained volunteers. You can become part of the team!
Hospice provides intensive training and education twice a year.
If you have good listening and communication skills, are flexible, possess a non-judgmental attitude, have a willingness to serve, and have not had a significant personal loss with the past year, you are invited to attend an orientation, with no obligation.
To become a Hospice volunteer, download the PeaceHealth volunteer application.
Send it along with the Hospice Volunteer
