The Fifth Street Public Market is where many Eugeneans meet to dine, browse, and people-watch. The 1920s chicken processing plant now houses craft booths, boutiques, restaurants from fine dining to to-go, and Nike’s "heritage" store (the company's prototype running shoe was designed in Eugene).
