Broiled Trout Almondine

Serves 4
Ingredients:
1 lb trout, divided into four 4-ounce servings
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp sea salt, or to taste
pepper to taste
1 oz slivered almonds
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Recipe Directions:
Place trout fillets on broiler pan. Brush trout with 1 TB of the olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Broil 4 inches away from heat for approximately 5-10 minutes.
While fish cooks, heat almonds in 2 TB olive oil until fragrant. Add lemon juice and parsley. Pour over fish just before serving.
