Mathew Trojan, MD
Medical Director, Heart Failure Center
Matthew Trojan, MD, joined the staff of Oregon Cardiology and OHVI in 2007. His specialty is care of the patient with advanced heart failure. Dr. Trojan was formerly from the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville,
where, after a cardiology fellowship, he pursued advanced training and experience in congestive heart failure, transplant medicine, and electrical device therapy. He
also served as a clinical instructor.
He graduated from Emory University School of Medicine, in Atlanta, in 1999, and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, in Minneapolis. He was board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2002 and again in 2006 in cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Trojan has served as an investigator on a number of clinical trials, including studies on cardiac resynchronization therapy with CRT-D devices and the efficacy of 3,5-diiodothyropropionic acid (DIPTA) for patients with congestive heart failure.
An All-American swimmer in 1994, Dr. Trojan still enjoys recreational
cycling.

Suzanne Webber, RN, MS, FNP
Clinic Manager and Nurse Practitioner, Heart Failure Center
Suzy began her nursing career as soon as she received her Associate’s degree from Glendale Community College in Glendale, Arizona in 1993. She was a Cardiovascular ICU Nurse with Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix for 10 years, during which she returned to school at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix for her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Suzy completed her academics with a Master’s degree in Nursing from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff in 2003. Her specialty degree led to a position as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Biltmore Cardiology followed by a year with Integrative Cardiology, both in Phoenix.

Nancy McCaffrey, RD, MM
Dietitian, Heart Failure Center
Nancy received a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Dietetics from the University of Illinois in 1978 and worked as a consulting dietitian, a private practice dietitian, a partner in a fitness business and as a cardiac rehabilitation dietitian through 1992. She was the Coordinator of Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg for four years before coming on board with Sacred Heart Medical Center as an inpatient dietitian in 2004. Nancy is now the Registered Dietitian for the Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute. She is combining her education and experience with a Master’s degree in Management that she will complete at Southern Oregon University in Ashland in June 2005. |

Debra Lundin
Patient Access Specialist and Clinical Assistant
Debi was born and raised in Eugene. She has been with PeaceHealth since May of 2003. Debi will be starting the Medical Office Assistant program at Pioneer Pacific College in January 2008, and will be completing the program in June 2009.
