A weekly meeting of the Tumor Board
|
Once a week, physicians from a range of
specialties and representatives from hospice, social services,
pharmacy, dietary, and nursing meet to discuss new cancer cases
diagnosed in the Lower Columbia Region. This allows the physician who is
coordinating the patient's treatment to gain input from many health
care professionals in a wide range of specialties. Patient names are withheld.
Physicians may have cases included for discussion by
contacting the Cancer Registry by phone, (360) 414-7956 or e-mail.
