Doctors: How to refer to A Child’s Place

 

Referrals are generally accepted for any child meeting eligibility criteria. Most referrals come from the following sources:

  • Access Center/PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center

  • Primary care physicians, pediatricians, OB/GYN’s

  • Hospitals/medical community

  • School counselors/teachers

  • Juvenile department

  • Crisis services/LCMHC

  • Other mental health agencies

  • Social workers

  • Parents

  • Division of Child and Family Services

  • Pre-school teachers

  • Department of Social and Health Services
Providers should have a parent/legal guardian contact A Child's Place at (360) 414-2222 for a phone inquiry and appointment. In addition, a written referral from a provider mailed - or faxed (360) 414-2220 - to A Child's Place is desirable.
