When you become eligible for the plan, you have 30 days from your date of hire or status change date to complete the online enrollment process. If you do not complete the process, you will default to the following benefits:

  • In-Network Plan - Employee Only

  • Core AD&D

  • Core Life

  • Dental- Employee Only

  • Core Long Term Disability

Lower Columbia Region Employees are benefit eligible in accordance with the following table:

Listed below are the waiting periods for benefits. A waiting period is the time period between becoming benefit eligible and the effective date benefits begin:

  • New employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, ad&d, dependent life, LTD (if applicable), and spending accounts the first of the month following 90 days of hire.

  • Current employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, ad&d, dependent life, and spending accounts the first of the month following the date of the status change (LTD benefits will begin the first of the month following 90 days from the status change - if applicable)
