You are invited to join us for an open house event and tour of our newly expanded Emergency Department.

New PeaceHealth Southwest Emergency Department Open House
Friday, June 28
4:30 – 7:30 p.m.
400 NE Mother Joseph Place
Vancouver, WA.

Mark your calendars and bring your family and friends to see it!

The new Emergency Department will include:

  • More patient rooms, modern amenities, and a more private healing environment with a space that is double the current size
  • A model to improve patient flow, reduce wait times and increase patient satisfaction
  • An updated entry with adjacent parking for improved patient and family experience
  • Increased capacity and safe traffic flow for cars and ambulances

The upper floor of the expansion will include a 24-bed observation unit. This increase in space allows us to treat patients immediately upon arrival, eliminates hallway treatments and reduces waiting room stays.

In addition to the observation unit, the upper floor will house the Community Health Hub, a unique initiative that will provide 24-hour, non-medical care to PeaceHealth Emergency Department patients experiencing behavioral health issues, addiction, homelessness, food insecurity and domestic violence.

The Community Health Hub, which will be staffed by community partners, will focus on collaborating with the Emergency Department in delivering the right care, at the right time in the right place.
